Our signature relaxation techniques, mindful movement, crafting and magical storytelling combine to create a space where kids learn to:

WHAT HAPPENS AT EACH CLASS?
​
Children are literally hard wired to be joyful, high energy and excitable and our classes certainly don't aim to take this out of them!
But what is also quite obvious, once you know to look for it, is that children are very mindful and live completely in the present moment.
Just think about it, if they have a tantrum one moment as their friend has the toy that they wanted, in the next moment they will be happy, smiling and playing together, so engrossed in their games that they can't even hear us call their name when it's time for tea!
There is no analysing or regretting the past, there is no worrying about what might come next!
Just presence!
We can learn a lot from our little ones!

Our classes aim to promote this natural propensity for mindfulness whilst providing opportunities for relaxing and centering meditation,
interspersed with moments of magic, laughter, movement and activity!
Our MINIS classes can be broken down into 4 parts:
​
1. WELCOME, CENTER AND CALM
This segment is designed to shift your child’s emotional state and welcome them into the class feeling calm and relaxed. We begin with our STOP AND FEEL MY BREATHING song and then lead the children through several giggle inducing movement and dance games, designed to slowly start the process of relaxation by expelling any excess energy!

2. MOVE & EXPLORE
In this segment your child will explore, investigate and learn techniques that they can use in their daily lives to help them build resilience, boost confidence, and develop self-regulation and creativity skills. We keep things fun by taking them on an imaginative and creative movement and stretching journey around a set theme linking each sequence to our breath and after our exploration has come to an end we finish with a story with a mindful message.
Themes to expect are SPACE, UNDERWATER, DOWN ON THE FARM, TRANSPORT, MINDFUL SAFARI to name just a few!

3. CHILL
This segment is designed to fuel children’s imagination and allow them and YOU the opportunity to rest and just be. We invite the grown-ups to join their children throughout the class and you'll love this opportunity for a quiet moment with your little one! Don't worry if you child doesn't want to join in your instructor will have a quiet activity on hand for them to complete should they prefer to!

4. CATCH UP
In this segment we pop some music on for your child to have a bop to, a run around or a play with our breathing balls, calm jars and squidgy fiddle toys whilst you catch up with the other parents and maybe even have chance for a brew and a biscuit!
